A FAMILY OWNED COMPANY

About Many Bidets

Now a multi-million dollar company, Many Bidets had humble beginnings. What started as a part time operation out of our founder’s living room is now a thriving small business with ten employees. Although we’ve grown, we’re still a family-owned business that values each customer as an individual with unique needs. Our passion is helping you find the perfect bidet and providing lifetime product support, so you can enjoy superior health and hygiene for years to come!

Here's Our Story So Far

A Life-Changing Discovery

In early 2013, Daniel, our founder, developed IBS. In search of relief, he and his wife, Nicole, discovered bidets. After installing the Bio-Bidet BB-2000, they wondered why every home in America wasn’t using a bidet. Dan finally found relief from the pain caused by wiping, and he felt truly clean for the first time! Nicole, a former naturalist, loved that bidets lessened the negative impact of toilet paper use on the environment.

Going Out on a Limb

Unable to keep the magic of bidets to themselves, the Johnsons launched Many Bidets in September of 2013. They started by purchasing the website domain and reaching out to manufacturers. From the very beginning, it was important to Daniel and Nicole that they provide the highest quality bidets and service in order to meet the unique needs of each customer.

Worth the Wait

After three months of building Many Bidets’ online presence and relationships with manufacturers, the Johnsons made their first sale. A family in California purchased the Bio Bidet BB-2000. Providing a valuable service to real people was the exact reason Daniel and Nicole decided to pursue Many Bidets, and this sale was just the beginning!

New Products, New Opportunities

In May of 2014, Many Bidets grew its product offerings by becoming a TOTO authorized retailer. This enabled them to provide TOTO bidet seats and bidet toilets to their customers, meeting a wider range of budgets and needs. Whether customers were looking for something affordable like a TOTO Washlet, or something with the luxury level of a Neorest, Many Bidets now had something for everyone.

A Full-Time Gig

After three years of running Many Bidets while working another full-time job, Daniel was able to walk away from his previous career and run Many Bidets on a full-time basis! At this point, the Johnsons handled all communication with customers and manufacturers. Spending every day helping others find solutions for their unique needs was a dream come true.

A Little Help?

About a year later, Many Bidets became more than the Johnsons could handle on their own. They hired their first part-time employee to create website content and customer resources. Having the help of this employee freed Daniel up to spend more time working one-on-one with customers to find them the best bidet.

The More the Merrier!

Many Bidets’ tremendous growth continued, and the Johnsons realized they needed more hands on deck if they wanted to provide the same level of customer service to their customers. In April of 2018, Many Bidets hired their first full-time employee, this time in a customer service role. This new hire guaranteed that the ever-growing Many Bidets customer base would continue receiving the personal touch that Many Bidets is known for.

Looking Like a Million Bucks

In 2018, Many Bidets passed $1 Million in sales for the first time! This was huge for the company in more ways than one. Not only did it mean that they were bringing in revenue to keep the lights on, but that they had enough to invest in their people and in new relationships and products. This growth allowed Many Bidets to pursue creating and acquiring products specific to customers’ needs.

A New Mission

With six years in the bidet industry under his belt, Dan realized that there were some gaps in the market. Dan saw that the needs of the elderly and disabled were largely unmet. In an effort to provide products to meet the needs of these populations, Dan and his brother Sam created the company Dignity Solutions. Working directly with a manufacturer, they designed the Cascade 3000 bidet seat.

The Great Toilet Paper Shortage of 2020

In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic changed everything, including the bidet industry. Many people turned to bidets during the toilet paper shortage, and bidet sales skyrocketed. In the end, bidets became a viable option in the eyes of the public. This meant that Many Bidets was able to help more people find the relief and cleanliness they’d been searching for.

Bigger and Better

After bidets surged in popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic, Many Bidets needed a bigger space. In 2021, Many Bidets relocated from Ypsilanti, Michigan to a larger location in Brighton, Michigan. The extra space allowed the team to create higher quality video content aimed at helping customers choose and use a bidet, and it enabled them to expand their bidet repair service.

Our Number One Priority

Through all the growth and changes we’ve experienced since opening our virtual doors in 2013, our number one focus is helping you find the absolute best bidet solution for your needs. After all, we are a family-owned business — and what’s family for?
