Bidet Seats with Best Warranties
Electric bidet seats aren’t cheap, so it’s natural to wonder about the type of protections that come with them. All the electric bidet seats we sell come with a standard warranty of some sort, from 1-year limited warranties to 4-year full warranties. Some seats even come with a basic warranty that can be extended in scope and duration for a fee, giving you multiple options for protecting your investment.
This article is designed to walk you through warranty basics plus provide a rundown of the best bidet seats with generous warranties. A listing of all the options in a given warranty category can be found in the drop-down menu (under “Browse by Features”) at the top of our site, or by clicking one of the following links:
What’s in a Warranty?
Warranties are designed to cover the costs of repairing or replacing problems due to defective parts or workmanship. Provided you don’t violate any of the warranty’s provisions, it will cover either the full or partial cost of parts and labor within a set time period. The percentage of costs that are covered depends on whether the seat’s warranty is limited or unlimited. Specifics vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, but in general:
- Limited warranties cover a portion of cost of parts/labor while full warranties cover the entire cost of parts/labor
- Warranty coverage only applies to the original purchaser
- Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty service
Why Does Buying from an Authorized Seller Matter?
It’s worth mentioning that buying from an authorized dealer is key if you want maximum protection for your investment. Buying a seat from an unauthorized seller, to include many third parties on Amazon, may save you a few dollars, but doing so will leave you with little recourse if something goes wrong with your order or if the seat has problems. Buying from an authorized seller also ensures that your seat is a new and authentic product that isn’t damaged, defective, counterfeit or refurbished. Lastly, many manufacturers will only honor a warranty if the seat was purchased through an authorized seller. Many Bidets is proud to be an authorized dealer for all the seats we carry, so you can rest assured that any electric seat purchased from us meets the seller requirement for protection throughout the warranty period.
Warranty Limitations and Exclusions
What invalidates a warranty? It varies from manufacturer to manufacturer but warranties typically won’t cover units bought from an unauthorized dealer, normal wear and tear, or damage caused by improperly
installing, using or maintaining the bidet, natural calamities, electrical surges, or foreign matter/sediment in the water supply.
Also keep in mind that under both full and limited warranties, many bidet companies do require the customer to pay some portion of the shipping costs associated with sending a unit to the warehouse for repair. The good news is that a majority of bidet repairs can be completed by the consumer at home, which reduces the chances that the seat will need to be mailed anywhere. Of course, if you’d rather not complete any repairs yourself, you generally have the option of sending the seat to an approved repair center.
Warranty Information by Manufacturer
Because each manufacturer has a specific list of warranty conditions and exclusions, the best way to know the requirements and entitlements of a specific seat’s coverage is to read the manufacturer’s warranty statement. The links below provide general warranty information for some of the most popular bidet brands we sell.

What bidet seat has the best warranty?
The Cascade 3000 automatically comes with a full 4-year warranty, which is one of the most generous standard warranties of any seat we sell. While you don’t have the option of extending this warranty, it covers the repair or replacement of any part that is defective in material or workmanship under normal installation, use, or service for the entire 4-year period. As with all warranties, there are some exclusions. For example, buying a Cascade 3000 from an unauthorized seller automatically voids the warranty, and it doesn’t cover scratches or staining that occurs after you receive the seat. Additionally, if it becomes necessary to physically send the seat in for repairs, you are responsible for the cost of shipping it to the authorized service facility. Finally, the warranty is only extended to the original purchaser. A comprehensive summary of the Cascade’s warranty, including additional exclusions, can be found on page 22 of the Cascade 3000 Bidet Seat owner’s manual.
Besides its generous warranty, the Cascade 3000 comes with a wide range of bidet features that provide the perfect solution for getting clean. These include front and rear wash modes with optional nozzle oscillation, an instant heating system that produces unlimited warm wash water, and adjustable water temperature, water pressure and nozzle position. The Cascade also offers the option of a one-button wash and dry utilizing the seat’s last used settings for a convenient, hassle free cleanse. Additional comfort and convenience features include a warm air dryer, heated seat, scentless deodorizer, and an LED nightlight that illuminates the bowl and surrounding area with a gentle blue glow for easier nighttime navigation. For your health and safety, the Cascade’s interior tubing and nozzles are coated with a silver nano-solution that keeps the water sanitary as it moves through the unit, and the stainless steel nozzles self-rinse before and after each use.
From a design standpoint, the Cascade 3000 doesn’t disappoint! Sleek, streamlined, and available in both round and elongated seat sizes, the Cascade is compatible with most one- and two-piece toilets, including many with a difficult-to-fit French Curve design. Whereas most bidet seat lids are designed to serve only as a cover for the bowl, the Cascade’s lid is strong enough to support 330 lbs, making it possible for a wide range of individuals to use it as a seat for personal grooming or caregiving tasks. Last but not least, the Cascade comes with two remote control options: a large, ADA compliant remote with raised, color coded buttons, or a small, slim remote with a display screen and flat buttons.
With so many fantastic features and a generous standard warranty, the Cascade 3000 offers unbeatable convenience, comfort, and peace of mind.
Bio Bidet BB-2000
The Bio Bidet BB-2000 often appears on our recommendation lists because it offers a ton of top features at a fair price. Unsurprisingly, the BB-2000 is also a winner in the warranty department thanks to its generous 3-year full warranty that can be extended to a 6-year full warranty for just $99. Bio Bidet’s full warranty covers 100% of cost for labor and parts, though do keep in mind that they do not assume responsibility for the cost of removal, return, and/or reinstallation of their bidet seats. Bio Bidet also states that their full warranties are not transferrable to anyone beside the original purchaser of the seat. For complete warranty details, including exclusions, see Bio Bidet’s 3-year Full Warranty Statement.
Keep in mind that you’re getting more than a solid warranty when you purchase a BB-2000. This luxury bidet seat comes with front and rear wash modes, plus an enema wash option that directs a high-powered stream of water into the rectum to loosen stool and stimulate a bowel movement. It also offers a child mode that uses softer settings designed for smaller, younger users. Other great wash features include nozzle oscillation, massage (pulse) wash, and a powerful hybrid water heater that generates unlimited warm water with great temperature consistency. The heated seat option keeps your bum warm when its chilly, and the warm air dryer allows you to dry off without wiping for a hands-free experience start to finish. As with all the seats on this list, the BB-2000 has adjustable water temperature and pressure, nozzle position, seat temperature and air dryer temperature. Additionally, the BB-2000 has an LED nightlight, scentless air deodorizer, a generous 400-lb weight limit, and its nozzles can be easily replaced at home. It only fits elongated toilets and comes in a white color only, but the remote control is available in white or black.
If you’re looking for remote controlled seat with top tier features, an enema wash, and multiple full warranty options, the BB-2000 is a terrific seat to consider.
Bio Bidet BB-1700
The Bio Bidet BB-1700 is nearly identical to the BB-2000 in both features and warranty. The BB-1700’s 3-year full warranty can be upgraded to a 6-year warranty, and the conditions and limitations are the same as the BB-2000’s warranty.
The main differences between the two seats are that the BB-1700 has a control panel attached to the side of the seat whereas the BB-2000 has a wireless remote control. Some users prefer the convenience of the side arm control panel, and it can be a good option for anyone who might have difficulty holding a remote control due to surgery, medical conditions like arthritis, or other physical limitations. Plus, you don’t have to worry about replacing batteries like you do with a wireless remote control, and you’re guaranteed never to lose it since it’s fused to the side of the seat. Lastly, it’s about $50 cheaper than the BB-2000. Downsides include the fact that it makes the bidet seat take up more room than one without a control panel, and some consumers don’t like the bulkier look. Additionally, potential buyers who find it difficult to look down, have vision limitations that make reading from a 2-3 foot distance challenging, or want controls that can be operated with their feet are probably better off with a remote controlled seat like the BB-2000. A second difference between the two seats is that the BB-1700’s water flow rate is nearly double that of the BB-2000. As a result, we feel the BB-1700’s enema wash option is a bit more powerful than the BB-2000’s.
If you’re looking for a seat with an enema function, side arm control panel, and long-range warranty options, you’ll want to keep the Bio Bidet BB-1700 on your short list.
Brondell Swash 1400
When it comes to features, the Brondell Swash 1400 holds its own against the three seats listed above, and it comes with a 3-year limited warranty that can be upgraded to 5 years of full coverage for $99. The standard limited warranty covers:
- 100% Coverage of all parts and labor for the entire product for the first year from original date of purchase
- 75% Coverage of all parts and labor for the entire product for the second year from original date of purchase
- 50% Coverage of all parts and labor for the entire product for the third year from original date of purchase
Keep in mind that the Swash 1400’s warranty is not transferrable and doesn’t cover damage or loss that occurs as a result of shipping, power surges, sediment in the water source, natural disasters, normal wear and tear, or improper installation, removal, cleaning or repair. A complete summary of Brondell’s warranty policy can be found here.
The Swash 1400’s wash features include front and rear cleansing modes with unlimited warm water, nozzle oscillation, and a spray wand that offers unprecedented reach and precision thanks to seven front to back positions and three width options. Additionally, the Swash 1400 has a heated seat and warm air dryer, both with adjustable temperature controls, as well as adjustable water pressure and temperature. An air deodorizer, LED nightlight, and one button wash and dry option round out the seat’s luxury convenience features. Similar to the Cascade 3000, the Swash 1400’s lid is more than a cover; it’s strong enough to serve as a seat in the bathroom. Keep in mind that it has a 270 lb weight limit, whereas the Cascade 3000’s lid can support up to 330 lbs. For maximum cleanliness, the Swash 1400 even offers a sanitizing system that releases small particles of silver into the water used to cleanse the stainless steel nozzles. Last but not least, the Swash 1400 is operated via a slim remote control, comes in round and elongated seat sizes, and is even available in both white and beige, making it easy to pair with just about any toilet.
If you’re looking for versatility, high end features, and a solid warranty, the Brondell Swash 1400 is a great choice.
Best Bidet Warranty on a Budget: Bio Bidet BB-800 Prestige
The BB-800 Prestige is simpler than the other Bio Bidet seats on this list, but it’s very affordable and offers some of the best warranty options for a seat in its price bracket. The BB-800 comes with a standard 3-year limited warranty that can be upgraded to a full 6-year warranty for $99. The BB-800’s standard 3-year limited warranty covers the following:
- 100% coverage of all parts and labor for the entire unit for one year following the original purchase date
- 75% coverage of all parts and labor for the entire unit for the second year following the original purchase date
- 50% coverage of all parts and labor for the entire unit for the third year following the original purchase date
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser, and Bio Bidet states that the owner is responsible for the cost of returning the seat to the service center if in-person repairs are required. Additional conditions can be found in the warranty statement, located on page 22 of the BB-800’s owner’s manual.
In terms of features, the BB-800 offers front and rear wash modes with pulsating and oscillating nozzle options, a wide spray that increases cleansing coverage, and a turbo wash option that’s similar to an enema wash but a bit less powerful. It also comes with a warm air dryer with adjustable temperature settings, plus an adjustable heated seat, and like the other Bio Bidet models mentioned above, it’s nozzles can be easily replaced at home. It is available in both round and elongated seat sizes, so it fits on most one and two-piece toilets, and it’s operated with a side arm control panel. It’s the only seat on this list with a tank water heater, which provides 30-60 seconds of warm water. Once the tank runs out of warm water, it takes 3-5 minutes to refill, and the seat uses cool water in the meantime. Additionally, the BB-800 is the only seat on this list with plastic nozzles versus stainless steel. Plastic works just fine, though stainless steel is considered the gold standard due to its longevity and the ease with which it can be kept clean. On the plus side, however, these elements do contribute to the BB-800’s low price tag, which is a huge advantage if you’re working with a tighter budget.
At the end of the day, the BB-800 may not be our most feature-packed seat, but it’s durable and provides quality bidet cleansing along with solid warranty options.
