A8 Serenity and Swash 1400 Comparison Video Transcript

Good morning everyone! This is Daniel with manybidets.com. Today we’re going to be comparing two remotes from two of our top luxury bidet seats. On the left, you’ll see the Bio Bidet A8 Serenity remote, and on the right you’re going to see the Brondell Swash 1400 remote.

As we can see, both of these remotes have very different designs. The Bio Bidet A8 Serenity has a screen that shows everything that’s happening on the remote, and also is dual sided (which we’ll look at later). On the other hand, the Brondell Swash 1400 bidet seat is single sided and has no screens. But does have LED lights to give you an idea what settings are currently chosen.

Looking at the back of the a8 serenity remote, we can see that it is super simple. This makes it a great option for households where some individuals want a complicated remote with all the features, and others in the household want a simple remote. With this being said, the Swash 1400 remote is very well laid out, and still a great remote.

Both of these remotes come with a wall mount that can be stuck to practically any surface with an adhesive, or screwed into the wall. The Swash 1400’s wall mount uses a magnet that keeps the remote in place. This makes it very easy to take the remote out of the wall mount, and put it back. The Swash 1400’s battery compartment for the remote is on the back side.

Simply open up the compartment, and put the batteries in place. Your purchase includes these batteries and when they need to be replaced should be able to be found at most stores despite the fact that they are not AAA or AA batteries. The A8 remote on the other hand slides in and out of the wall mount. While this takes a bit more effort, it is more secure once it’s in the wall mount, so both have their advantages. The design of the wall mount for the A8 allows either side of the remote to be facing forward at any time. The A8 also comes with batteries but these are AAA batteries and are even easier to find when they need to be replaced.

While we like both the A8 remote and the Swash 1400 remote, the A8 is our top pick. The reasons for this include the dual sided nature of the remote and the screen that lets you see exactly what’s going on at any point in time. Despite declaring a winner when it comes to these two remotes the Swash 1400 remote is still a great remote. It offers an easy-to-use clear layout and does offer some feedback with the LED lights.
