Find out by taking our short quiz!So if you're looking for a warm water bidet seat that does not need a hot water hookup but also doesn't cost a ton of money, a bidet seat with tank water heating is the way to go. This is not the only advantage a tank water heating. Tank water heaters tend to do a better job of providing warm water from the very start, and tend to be slightly more consistent with water temperature regulation. Tank water heating systems for bidet seats have one big down side though; they only offer a limited supply of warm water. These cost effective bidet seats are great when buying a bidet on a budget if you're OK with not having unlimited warm water. The length of the warm water wash provided by a tank water heater on a bidet seat depends on the pressure and the temperature the operator selects. If a higher temperature or higher pressure is selected, the warm water will last for a shorter amount of time. These bidet seat tank water heaters tend to provide warm water for 30 seconds to 60 seconds depending on the setting selected.
Bidet Seats with Tank Water Heaters: FAQs:
Q: How much power does a bidet seat tank water heater use?
A: Because tank water heaters used for bidet seats keep the water heated all the time, they use more electricity when in standby mode, but less electricity when the seat is being used. The tank portion of these bidet seats tends to be well insulated. Because of this, the water heater does not need to heat the water very frequently.
Q: Where can I hide the water tank used by my bidet seat?
A: Because these tank water heaters are small, the tank itself is stored inside the bidet seat. There's no need to find a place to store the hot water tank. The entire unit is completely self contained.
Q: Are bidet seats that use a tank water heater more bulky?
A: Because these bidet seats have to use a water tank that's built into the back of the seat, they do tend to be more bulky than bidet seats that use an instant water heater. If you're looking for the sleekest design possible, you'll probably want to look at a bidet seat with an instant water heater.
