How do I know if there is enough room to install this seat? My round seat toilet has 19.75\" from the base of the tank to the edge of the current seat. The tank overhangs by 1.5\" at the top. Will the seat on the bidet fully stand up?

With your tanks over hang taken into consideration, I think you will have issues with the bidet lid staying up. When we tested this on a Glacier Bay with similar overhang the lid would not stay up, even though it was open to a full 90 degrees.
