Both the seat's electrical cord, and water supply come out of the left hand side when facing the toilet.

Sadly this bidet does not have a battery operated version. This bidet requires too much power to realistically rely on a standard battery, as the electrical pull is too high. This bidet uses a standard 3 prong GFCI outlet.

This bidet seat comes with everything needed to install and operate the bidet seat on a normal toilet. If you have a skirted toilet and thus don't have access to the bottom side of the bolts that connect the toilet seat to the bowl, you may need additional hardware, which you can find below: Alt T connector: https://www.manybidets.com/product/bidet-t-valve-for-skirted-toilet/ Top Mounting kit: https://www.manybidets.com/product/swash-bidet-seat-top-mount-mounting-hardware/ If you have hard water, you may also consider pairing your seat with a carbon water filter, which can be found here: https://www.manybidets.com/product/water-filters/ If using the filters, you'll want to make sure to change them out every 6 to 9 months.

I just installed this week and it is a big difference compare to traditional toilet.. the only issue i have so far is that the seat opens up ..extremely sensitive with any slight movement opens up. Otherwise its a good toilet

This bidet was very similar to the ones we discovered in Japan…and since we had a Toto toilet we thought we’d go with a matching bidet. The warm seat is heavenly and the features convenient. We mounted the remote on the wall making it easy to see and access (I know some controls are connected to the unit at the back side and require twisting around to see them which seems inconvenient). We are very happy with this product!
