The TOTO Washlet S550e with contemporary trim takes luxury to a new level with a sleek silhouette and high end comfort and convenience features. You’ll be able to relax while you answer answer nature’s call thanks to the unit’s heated seat, aerated wash spray with oscillating and pulsating options that soothes as it cleans, instant water heating system that ensures a warm water wash every time, and a warm air dryer with five temperature settings that eliminates the need for toilet paper. The TOTO Washlet S550e’s built in deodorizer stops unpleasant bathroom odors from invading your bathroom, and the nightlight makes it easier and safer to use the restroom at night. The two user presets means that frequent users have a one-touch option for initiating a fully customized wash sequence, and the automatic open/close lid adds an extra level of ease to the whole restroom experience. What’s more, this unit features EWATER+, TOTO’s signature water sterilization system that automatically rinses the unit’s bowl and wand after use to maximize hygiene.     I purchased two of the top rated bidets for 2022, generally the washlet is good but there are two disappointed features.
    1. The seat is not as comfortable as less expensive washlets especially for larger people.
    2. The controller look expensive enough but the button description plate that is mounted behind the controller mount cheapens the product. I would not recommend this controller for seniors. or where you expect visitors to use the washlet.

    the easiest installation of a bidet I have experienced. Anyone can do it. The unit is totally automatic and sprung to life as soon as I plugged it in. Quite amazing how quickly it heated water, seat. Ergonomics are great and the controller is very easy to use.

    Both the seat's electrical cord, and water supply come out of the left hand side when facing the toilet.

  • Is there a battery powered version of this bidet?

    Sadly this bidet does not have a battery operated version. This bidet requires too much power to realistically rely on a standard battery, as the electrical pull is too high. This bidet uses a standard 3 prong GFCI outlet.

  • What does this bidet seat come with? Do I need anything else for install?

    This bidet seat comes with everything needed to install and operate the bidet seat on a normal toilet. If you have a skirted toilet and thus don't have access to the bottom side of the bolts that connect the toilet seat to the bowl, you may need additional hardware, which you can find below: Alternate T Connector Top-Mount Hardware Kit If you have hard water, you may also consider pairing your seat with an ion water filter. If you use a filter, you'll want to make sure to change it out every 6 to 9 months.

If you are looking for honest reviews, got to their YOUTUBE page where the boss talks honestly about the actual functions, features, and perks of their top Bidets. Thats how I made my choice.

I had originally reached out to Many Bidets through email because I had a question about which type of bidet would fit a one-piece toilet. Someone emailed me back very quickly on a Sunday and was SO helpful. I ended up working with that person directly to then go on and purchase my bidet seat through the company.
