What many people don’t realize is that there’s no need to give up the benefits of electric bidet cleansing just because you’re on the road! We sell several electric bidet seats that are sleek enough to fit in the compact bathroom of an RV and also have two infrared sensors (versus the standard one) so that the bathroom’s small size doesn’t disrupt the remote control’s ability to function normally. If you’re looking to enjoy the comforts of bidet cleansing in your RV, check out our top recommended seats below!

While these are the only bidets on the market we know to fit RVs, there are some other important things to note when considering installing a bidet seat in your RV bathroom. These bidet seats will not work with just any RV toilet. Toilets that normally get installed in a recreational vehicle tend to be small. Small enough that they won’t work with ANY bidet seat on the market. We have had customers have success with installing these bidet seats on the Dometic 310 RV toilet with a few modifications.  The other important thing to note is that RVs do not offer the same power grid as a home does.  Due to this, it’s important to make sure your RV has a power source in the bathroom that supports 110 volts, and can handle a 15 amp draw.  If you have these parts of the puzzle sorted out, the below seats are great options for your RV bathroom!

Cascade 3000

The Cascade 3000 is one of our favorite luxury bidet seats! It’s a particularly great option for an RV bathroom thanks to its streamlined silhouette and dual infrared sensors, which help the remote function properly in such a small space. Front and rear wash modes with adjustable water pressure, water temperature and nozzle position get you clean in no time, and the warm air dryer with adjustable temperature settings provides a hands-free drying experience. For added comfort, the Cascade 3000 offers nozzle oscillation and a heated seat, as well as an instant water heater that generates unlimited warm water. Additional features that are especially useful in a small RV bathroom include a sittable lid that can support up to 330 lbs, an LED nightlight that illuminates the toilet bowl and surrounding area with a gentle glow, and an automatic deodorizer. As an enhanced hygiene measure, the seat’s interior tubing is treated with a silver-nano solution that keeps the wash water clean as it moves through the unit. The Cascade 3000 is available in round or elongated sizes and comes with a choice of large or small remote. Last but not least, the generous 4-year full warranty offers top of the line protection for your investment. With all these features, it’s easy to see why the Cascade 3000 is a great choice for your RV.

Galaxy GB-5000

The Galaxy GB-500 is another mid-range seat with dual infrared sensors that make it easier for the wireless remote to function properly in a compact RV bathroom. The GB-5000 offers all the basics and then some: front and rear wash modes with a high water flow rate and adjustable settings, a heated seat, a warm air dryer, and a one button wash and dry feature. An added bonus is that you can sit on the lid, which is a great feature to have in a small bathroom space. It even comes with a wash setting designed for younger users called child mode. One important difference between the GB-5000 and the other seats on this list is that the GB-5000 has a hybrid water heater. Hybrid heaters keep a tank of warm water on hand at all times so you have consistent warm water from the get-go. Once the tank runs out, the instant heater kicks on and begins heating water on demand. One important thing to keep in mind is that the GB-5000’s instant water heater can’t keep up with the seat’s high water flow rate, so the wash water will gradually cool off the longer you run the wash cycle. In a nutshell, the hybrid system provides more warm water than a seat with a solo tank heater, but the warm water is still limited. While the GB-5000 doesn’t have nozzle oscillation, it does come with pulse washing, which quickly varies the water pressure for a massage sensation that soothes tender areas and relaxes the bowels. The GB-5000 comes in both round and elongated seat sizes and offers a large remote that is easy to operate. It’s 1 year full warranty can even be upgraded to three years if you want additional coverage. All in all, the GB-5000 offers a lot of bang for your buck and is a great option for bathrooms that are tight on space.

Best Budget Bidet Seat for RVs: Blooming Bidet R1063

The Blooming Bidet R1063 shares many similarities with the Cascade 3000, including a sleek design and dual infrared sensors that maximize remote control performance. That said, it’s about half the price of the Cascade, making it a good option if you’re willing to lose a few features—including the sittable lid, stainless steel nozzles, silver-nano sterilized components, and deodorizer—in order to cut costs. With the R1063 you’ll enjoy a heated seat, front and rear cleansing with unlimited warm water, and a warm air dryer for hands-free toileting from start to finish. Nozzle oscillation provides additional cleansing coverage and adjustable settings allow you to personalize the water temperature and pressure, nozzle position, seat temperature and warm air dryer temperature. The R1063 also comes with an LED nightlight so that nighttime restroom trips are safer and easier, as well as a convenient one button wash and dry for quick, hassle free cleansing. This seat supports up to 300 lbs, is available in both round and elongated seat sizes and comes with a 3-year full warranty. While not as feature heavy as some of its competition, the Blooming Bidet R1063 is a versatile mid-range seat with an affordable pricetag, and it’s a solid choice for most RV bathrooms.
