Most Accessible Bidet Seat? Expert Review of the Infinity Eaze z3
We recently introduced you to the Infinity Eaze z3 bidet seat and shared all the behind-the-scenes details about the name change from the Cascade 3000. Now that we’ve had some time to test the Eaze z3, we’re back to share our full review. Watch the video below and keep reading for everything you need to know about the Infinity Eaze z3!
You might notice that the Infinity Eaze z3 looks a whole lot like the Cascade 3000. That’s because it’s essentially the same bidet seat! The Cascade 3000 was designed by Many Bidets’ own Dan and Sam Johnson to meet the needs of those aging in place, and the Eaze z3 continues that mission. We admit that we’re a little biased since we designed it, but we’re covering the pros and cons and giving you our honest thoughts in this review to help you decide if the Eaze z3 is right for you.
Infinity Eaze z3 First Impressions
Right out of the box, both the remote control and the bidet seat feel high-quality. The large remote is perfect for accessibility needs, and the bidet itself has a very sturdy build.
Pros:
- The Eaze z3 comes in both elongated and round seat sizes, so it’ll fit most toilets.
- It’s narrow enough in the back to work with many French curve toilets, which a lot of bidet seats won’t fit. (Want to double-check if the Eaze z3 will fit your toilet? Reach out to us for help!)
Con:
- The Eaze z3 has a taller back than some luxury bidet seats, so it’s not quite as sleek.
Installing the Eaze z3
The Eaze z3 installs with a standard mount, which means you’ll need to screw it in from the bottom. You can use a top-mounting kit if your toilet already has one, or you can purchase top-mount hardware if you prefer that option.
Pro:
- Installing the Eaze z3 is a simple DIY project. As long as you have an electrical outlet near the toilet, you’ll likely have it up and running in about 20 minutes.
Con:
- The Eaze z3 doesn’t have a quick-release button to easily remove the seat for cleaning. (Fortunately, removing the Eaze isn’t difficult – just not quite as simple as the quick-release option.)
Features and Wash Quality
You’ll get all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a top-notch electric bidet seat with the Eaze z3: front and rear wash options, customizable water temperature and pressure, adjustable nozzle positioning, warm air dryer, heated seat, built-in deodorizer and even silver-nano water sterilization.
Pros:
- The Eaze z3 has an excellent range of water pressures. At the lowest setting, it provides a gentle spray that’s great for sensitivity. The aerated stream can also deliver a very firm wash at the highest pressure level.
- Washes automatically start with nozzle oscillation. This means that the nozzle rhythmically moves back and forth to cover a broader area, which a lot of people love. (A second button press turns oscillation off if you don’t love it.)
Con:
- You might notice a very short burst of cold water at the start of the wash before the warm water kicks in (especially if you immediately start a second wash). It’s so brief that a lot of people don’t even notice it, but it might bother you if you’re especially sensitive.
Remote Control Operation
The Eaze z3’s remote control was designed with accessibility in mind and makes it one of the top bidets for handicapped and disabled individuals.
Pros:
- The green AUTO button on the remote control runs a full wash and dry cycle with one touch. This feature is great for bidet newbies, children and people with cognitive difficulties – or if you just want to get clean and dry and on your way without any fuss.
- The big red STOP button makes it quick and easy to immediately stop all the bidet functions.
- Large, color-coded buttons make the remote easy to use even for people with limited vision or dexterity. The buttons are easy to press and big enough to be operated with an elbow or foot.
Con:
- There’s no small remote for the Eaze z3 like there was with the Cascade 3000. If you prefer a more streamlined option, you might not love the Eaze z3’s remote.
Durability and Protection
Looking for superior quality and peace of mind? The Eaze z3 offers both. It’s made with some of the best materials you can have in a bidet seat and is backed by outstanding customer service.
Pros:
- The Eaze z3’s strong polypropylene construction supports up to 350 pounds – and you can even sit on the lid without worrying about cracking it or damaging the internals.
- It’s covered by a four-year full warranty. Plus, you can try it in your own home for 60 days thanks to the risk-free trial.
Con:
- None that we can think of – the Eaze z3 is built to last!
Who is the Eaze z3 for and how much does it cost?
While it was designed specifically to help adults aging in place, the Eaze z3 is really a bidet everyone can love. Its simple operation and robust feature set make it a great choice whether you’re new to bidets, have mobility challenges or limited vision or dexterity, want to maintain privacy and dignity or just want a thorough, comfortable bidet cleanse.
Sam has the Eaze z3 installed in his upstairs bathroom and has used it day after day. The verdict? He and his wife both love it – in fact, it’s her favorite. The seat is super comfortable, even in the round seat size, and the adjustability of the wash provides options to suit everyone’s preferences.
“What you want to know is: Would my wife let me replace this in our upstairs bathroom with another bidet? And the answer is no. It’s really as simple as that.”
– Sam Johnson, Many Bidets Chief Operating Officer
The Infinity Eaze z3 comes in at $899, with options to extend the four-year warranty by one year for $79 or two years for $99.
