Detailed comparison of the Bio Bidet BB-1700 and Blooming Bidet 1163 Bidet Seats
If you are looking to reach new levels of personal hygiene, considering a bidet seat is an excellent step in the right direction. Below we go through some of the differences and details between the Bio Bidet BB-1700 and Blooming 1163 bidet seats.
Look & Feel
Both of these seat models are excellently designed and packed with great features to elevate your bathroom routine. The Bio Bidet BB-1700 has streamlined, contemporary design, while the Blooming 1163 has a classic look with an attractive beveled edge. Additionally, these seats are both available in white. Regardless of your style preferences, both the BB-1700 and Blooming 1163 are aesthetically pleasing and will match almost any bathroom decor.
One design element you will notice on these two seats is their attached side control panels. These are conveniently placed on the right side of each bidet so you can easily access the various seat functions. Furthermore, It is worth noting that while both of these seat models are made to fit an elongated toilet style, the Blooming 1163 also offers a round style option.
Wash Features
Nozzles
The Bio Bidet BB-1700 comes equipped with a stainless steel, 3-in-1 nozzle that utilizes three different spouts for performing the front, rear and enema washes. On the other hand, the Blooming 1163 seat includes a 2-in-1 aluminum nozzle for it’s two washes, front and rear. Aside from the enema wash function that the BB-1700 offers, the biggest difference between these two nozzles is the material from which they’re constructed. In this case, the BB-1700’s stainless steel nozzle is the more desirable and hygienic material because of its germ and bacteria resistant properties. In addition to the above mentioned wash features, the nozzles on both of these seats are adjustable, self cleaning, and have an oscillation function.
Although it is rare that you will ever need to remove your bidet seat nozzle, it is worth mentioning that the Bio Bidet BB-1700 nozzle is easily removable while the Blooming 1163 nozzle is not.
Enema Wash
An enema wash is a must have feature if you or someone in your household suffers from frequent constipation. The enema wash, which the BB-1700 offers, utilizes Bio Bidet’s patented vortex technology and sprays a powerful, circular stream of water into the rectum. This helps to stimulate bowel movements and provides relief from uncomfortable constipation. The Blooming 1163 does not offer an enema wash.
Pulse Wash
The pulse wash is a soothing wash option offered by the Bio Bidet BB-1700 but not by the Blooming 1163. Pulse washing works by alternating between a hard and soft water stream that creates a massaging effect. This comforting wash cycle can also stimulate bowel movements and is effective for cleansing sensitive areas.
Comfort & Convenience
Deodorizer
If you are concerned about smelly odors overtaking your bathroom, the deodorizer is a great option to have on your bidet seat. The Bio Bidet BB-1700 utilizes a powerful fan that pulls air through an active carbon filter. This filter effectively eliminates any lingering odors and leaves you bathroom smelling fresh and clean with every use.
LED Night Light
A nice option to have on your bidet seat is an integrated night light, especially if you or someone in your household frequently makes night time visits to the bathroom. The Blooming 1163 includes a convenient LED illumination feature that produces a soft glow so you can easily find your way around the bathroom in the middle of the night, whereas the Bio Bidet BB-1700 does not.
Other Details
Warranty
While both Bio Bidet and Blooming Bidet offer generous three year full warranties for their bidet seats, Bio Bidet takes things a step further and gives you the option to upgrade to a full six years of coverage. If you prefer having extra insurance on your purchases, you will definitely appreciate this extended warranty.
Final Thoughts
The Bio Bidet BB-1700 offers a few more wash options and features than the Blooming 1163, including: pulse wash, enema wash, and a deodorizer. Also, the estimated lifespan of the BB-1700 is a bit higher than that of the 1163. That being said, the 1163 is a well built seat with quality wash functions and a cool LED nightlight feature. Ultimately, your personal needs and preferences will determine which is right for you.
