Detailed Comparison of the Bio Bidet Bliss BB-2000 and the Bio Bidet A8 Serenity Advanced Bidet Toilet Seats
The Bio Bidet Bliss BB-2000 as well as the Bio Bidet A8 Serenity are two popular, high-end bidet seat models, both of which possess a variety of wonderful functions, including: adjustable front and rear washes, seat sensors, LED night lights and soft closing lids. In this comparison we will elaborate on the differences between these seats in order to help you make an informed decision on which is best for your needs.
Style & Design
Both the Bio Bidet Bliss BB-2000 and the Bio Bidet A8 Serenity have a sleek, contemporary look to accompany their luxurious features. Attractively, The A8 Serenity has a “uni-body” style design that keeps its cords and hoses tucked away from view. Both the A8 Serenity and the BB-2000 are only offered in white.
Wash
Both the Bio Bidet A8 Serenity and the BB-2000 offer leading edge wash options like oscillating spray, posterior cleansing, gentle feminine wash, pulse (massage) spray, and aeration for ultimate user comfort and cleanliness.
Wide Spray
The Serenity A8 offers an additional wide spray function for more coverage, and although the BB-2000 lacks the wide spray function, its water flow rate of 0.18 gallons per minute does help compensate for this deficiency. It is also worth noting that the BB-2000’s oscillation function helps provide a more comprehensive wash that is functionally similar to the A8’s wide wash.
Enema Wash
One of the major differences between these two models is that the BB-2000 comes with an enema wash option while the A8 Serenity does not. If someone in your household suffers from constipation, the enema wash function is definitely a feature you’ll want to seriously consider. The BB-2000 utilizes patented vortex technology for a powerful stream that aids in loosening stubborn stool and providing constipation relief.
Nozzles
The BB-2000 is equipped with a patented 3 in 1 stainless steel nozzle and features one-touch nozzle removal and replacement for simplicity. Alternatively, the A8 Serenity has a 2 in 1 stainless steel nozzle that is not easy to replace, so you’ll need to mail the seat in to Bio Bidet if the nozzle ever needs servicing. In spite of these differences, both models’ nozzles are adjustable and offer self cleaning and oscillation.
Comfort
Air Dryer
The dual speed air dryer is unique to the A8 Serenity. Choose either a normal dry setting or the more powerful turbo setting for faster drying. The BB-2000 only offers the standard 1 setting air dryer.
Convenience
Remotes
The Bio BIdet A8 and BB-2000 each offer different styles of remotes. The BB-2000 comes with a more traditional push button remote and an LED screen for choosing your options. Additionally, with the BB-2000 you can choose between 2 different remote colors: white, and black. In contrast, the A8 gives you a sleeker, flat button style remote that is also dual sided. The front side of the A8 remote shows the more basic seat functions and is perfect for guests, or just general simplicity. The backside of the A8 remote is equipped with a LED screen and is where you will find controls for the more complex seat functions.
User Presets
Another great feature that the A8 offers is the user preset function. Easily save your personal, favorite settings so you don’t have to reconfigure the wash options every time you use the seat. This is a great, convenient feature if you have multiple household members with different preferences regularly using the seat. The BB-2000 remote does not offer the user preset function.
Final Thoughts
Both the Bio Bidet Bliss BB-2000 and A8 Serenity are beautifully designed seats that will give you high quality wash options and a variety of comfort features. The biggest difference between the two is the enema wash featured by the BB-2000. If the enema wash is a feature you need, than the BB-2000 will probably be the best option for you. Alternatively, if you prefer having the user preset option, you may be inclined to purchase the A8. Regardless of your decision, you will be adding luxury, convenience and comfort to your bathroom routine with either of these top-of-the-line bidet seats.
