The Cascade 3000 by Dignity Solutions looks every inch the high-end bidet with its crisp white color and sophisticated silhouette. It’s available in both round and elongated seat sizes, and it’s been specially designed to fit on both traditional and French curve toilets, the latter of which won’t accommodate most bidet seats. The Brondell Swash 1200 also comes in white and features a simple, streamlined look. Like the Cascade 3000, it comes in both round and elongated seat sizes, but unlike the Cascade 3000, it is not compatible with French Curve toilets.
Unlike most bidet seats on the market today, both the Dignity Solutions Cascade 3000 and the Brondell Swash 1200 come with a lid that can support the weight of a full grown adult. The main difference is their weight limit: the Cascade 3000’s lid safely supports up to 330 lbs, while the Swash 1200’s lid can support up to 270 lbs. If you are in the habit of sitting on your toilet lid to dry off, dress, clip toenails or assist someone in bathing, you’ll appreciate the sittable lid that comes on both these units!
The Dignity Solutions Cascade 3000 and the Brondell Swash 1200 feature two different styles of nozzles, though both are crafted from high-quality, durable stainless steel, which is the most desirable nozzle material on the market. The Cascade 3000 has a single two-in-one nozzle, meaning that there is one wand with two nozzles on it; one nozzle is dedicated to the front wash and the other nozzle is dedicated to the rear wash. The Brondell Swash 1200 features dual nozzles, meaning that the seat has two separate wands, each with one nozzle. One wand/nozzle performs the front wash and the other wand/nozzle performs the rear wash.
The Brondell Swash 1200 allows users to adjust the wash spray to three different widths in order to optimize wash coverage, thereby reducing the amount of body shifting required to achieve a thorough cleanse. In comparison, the Dignity Solutions Cascade 3000’s wash options come with a standard spray width that can’t be widened.
Water flow rates theoretically impact the efficiency of the wash, with higher flow rates getting you clean and on your way a bit faster than lower flow rates. In this case, the Dignity Solutions Cascade 3000 features the higher wash rate, using 0.18 gallons of water per minute, whereas the Brondell Swash 1200 uses 0.11 gallons per minute. Whether this difference is significantly noticeable is up for debate, but its a difference worth mentioning all the same.
The Dignity Solutions Cascade 3000 features silver nano sterilization technology that works overtime to keep your unit sparkling clean! The interior tubing and nozzles of the Cascade 3000 are coated with a silver nano solution that eradicates contaminants and keeps water pure as it moves through the unit. This clean water is used to rinse the nozzles after each use, thereby ensuring a hygienic experience from start to finish. The Brondell Swash 1200 rinses its nozzles after each use, but it does not feature any nozzle sterilizing technology.
The Cascade 3000 by Dignity Solutions comes with a built-in warm air dryer that projects a gentle stream of warm air for a soothing drying experience. Even better, having a warm air dryer can reduce or eliminate the need for scratchy and expensive toilet paper, which is particularly convenient not only for individuals with mobility limitations or painful bowel conditions, but also for budget- and environmentally-conscious users.

The Cascade 3000 by Dignity Solutions doesn’t come with user presets but it does offer a one button wash and dry feature, which initiates a standard (though not personalized) wash and dry cycle at the touch of a button.
The Cascade 3000 by Dignity Solutions offers two different remote styles so you can choose the one that best suits your needs and situation. The larger remote features intuitive, easy to read buttons, whereas the smaller remote features smaller, flat buttons and a screen that displays your chosen settings. The Brondell Swash 1200 only offers one remote style, with an intuitive layout and no screen.
Both the Dignity Solutions Cascade 3000 and the Brondell Swash 1200 have a generous weight limit, with the Cascade 3000 supporting up to 350 lbs and the Swash 1200 supporting up to 330 lbs.
The Cascade 3000 by Dignity Solutions offers a four year full warranty with every purchase, though it doesn’t include the option to upgrade should you wish to extend your coverage. In comparison, Brondell offers a 1 year full warranty on the Swash 1200, and users have the option of upgrading to a 3 year full warranty.
While both these bidets have a lot to offer, the Dignity Solutions Cascade 3000 comes out a bit ahead of the Brondell Swash 1200 thanks to its French curve friendly design, nozzle sterilization, warm air dryer, deodorizer, two remote control options, and standard four year full warranty. However, the Cascade 3000 isn’t ahead of the Swash 1200 in every area; the Swash 1200 offers user presets, a slightly higher weight limit, and adjustable spray width.
