TOTO recently replaced the G500 Toilet and WASHLET with the G400, which is very similar but offers two major upgrades. First, the G400 offers an updated, more streamlined look that takes the unit to a new level of sophistication. The second difference is that the G400 offers PREMIST, a process that coats the toilet bowl with a thin layer of water before use. This, in tandem with the bowl’s special CeFIONtect glaze, makes it difficult for residue to stick to the bowl’s surface, resulting in a cleaner unit overall. All in all, users who liked the G500 are sure to love the added amenities offered by its replacement, the G400.
