The Neorest 750H is one of TOTO’s most luxurious units, and it shows in the unit’s low profile and sculpted , contemporary contours. The Neorest 550H is a good looking unit that easily fits with both modern and traditional bathroom décor, but it isn’t quite as sleek as the 750H. However, the 550H does come in both white and beige, making it easy to match with any color scheme, while the 750H is only available in white.
There’s one major difference in the features offered by the TOTO Neorest 550H and the Neorest 750H. The 750H features a state of the art technology called Actilight that completely cleans the bowl after each use without using any harsh, environmentally unfriendly chemicals. Actilight works by PREMIST the bowl with sterile water prior to use and then using a combination of UV light, electrolyzed water (EWATER+) and oxygen to break down any remaining particles left in the bowl after the unit is used, thus guaranteeing the most sanitary experience available and keeping the unit cleaner longer. While the Neorest 550H does not offer Actilight, it does PREMIST the bowl with sterile electrolyzed water (EWATER+), which helps reduce the amount of residue left behind after use.
Price is one of the biggest differences between these two units. With its premier features and top notch construction, the Neorest 750H is one of the pricier models available, coming in at $10,200. Meanwhile, the Neorest 550H foregoes some of those elements but comes in at a lower price point, making it a good option for users who aren’t interested in upgrading to the 750H.
Both the TOTO Neorest 550H and the Neorest 750H offer users a beautiful unit and comfortable experience. With a bit more to offer in terms of features, looks and build quality, the Neorest 750H is an excellent choice for users who desire a luxury unit with all the bells and whistles. For those who don’t want to spend the extra cash or are looking for a beige unit, the 550H provides many of the same great features at a competitive price.
