You really can’t go wrong with either the TOTO Neorest 700H or the TOTO Neorest AH. Both feature TOTO’s signature quality craftsmanship and are ADA compliant, and functionally, they’re the same. The main differences are looks, construction and price. Below, we’ve elaborated on each of these differences so you can feel confident choosing between the two.

Look & Feel

Both the TOTO Neorest 700H and the Neorest AH feature clean, angled contours and a contemporary overall look. However, the Neorest 700H is a bit more sleek and streamlined than the Neorest AH, giving it the edge in the looks department. Do keep in mind, however, that the Neorest 700H is only available in white, whereas the Neorest AH comes in both white and beige.

Craftsmanship

TOTO’s units all feature high-quality, long-lasting craftsmanship, but there are some differences in the type of materials used across units. The Neorest 700H is constructed from vitreous china whereas the Neorest AH’s construction includes plastic components. This difference in materials is partly responsible for the difference in price and also sets the Neorest 700H ahead of the Neorest AH when it comes to quality of build.

Price

The price difference between TOTO’s Neorest 700H and Neorest AH all depends on the color unit you’re looking for. The Neorest 700H is roughly the same price as the beige Neorest AH, while the white Neorest AH is around $700 cheaper.

Summary

Since TOTO Neorest 700H and Neorest AH are functionally the same, all you really need to weigh when deciding between the two is budget, color, silhouette and build quality. If you need a beige unit, the Neorest AH is your best option, but if you desire an extra sleek look and minimal plastic components, you should consider the Neorest 700H.
