The TOTO Neorest AC is a wall-hung unit, which gives the illusion that it’s floating in mid-air over the bathroom floor. In addition, the toilet’s tank and flushing mechanism are hidden in the wall, so the unit is perfect for small bathrooms where space is at a premium. The TOTO Neorest 700H is a floor mounted unit with long, elegant lines and curved contours that create quite a different overall look from the Neorest AC’s crisp angles and ultra-modern, boxy shape. Like most floor mounted units, it requires 12 inches from the back wall of the bathroom to the center of the drain or flange (also referred to as a 12-inch rough-in).
TOTO’s units are built to last, but there are a few differences in the materials used to build the TOTO Neorest 700H versus the TOTO Neorest AC. The TOTO Neorest 700H is crafted entirely from high quality china, while the TOTO Neorest AC is built from both plastic and china components.
The TOTO Neorest 700H uses electrolyzed water (EWATER+), which has sanitizing properties, to rinse the bowl and nozzles after each use. In comparison, the TOTO Neorest AC not only cleanses its bowl and nozzles with EWATER+ after each use but also offers a self-cleaning technology called Actilight, which uses UV light to break down residual waste in the unit. This extra self-cleaning feature helps keep the unit cleaner longer, all without the use of harsh chemicals.
Whether you choose the TOTO Neorest 700H or the TOTO Neorest AC, you’ll be getting an excellent, high-performing unit.
