Look and Feel
The TOTO Neorest NX1 and the TOTO Neorest 750H offer a high end, contemporary look that is sure to elevate the style factor of any bathroom, but their silhouettes are significantly different. While the Neorest 750H features long, clean lines and hard edges, the Neorest NX1 showcases rounded edges and futuristic curves. Determining which look is superior depends entirely on your personal preferences, but you can rest assured that either will take your bathroom’s look to the next level.
Self-Cleaning
A self-cleaning unit means less overall maintenance for you, the user, which is always a plus in our book! TOTO’s units are equipped with a variety of bacteria and waste residue fighting technologies, and there’s only one difference between the Neorest NX1 and the Neorest 750H in this regard. Both units feature a special CeFiONtect glaze that’s baked into the bowl that discourages waste from sticking to the bowl. Both units also feature electrolyzed water called EWATER+ PREMISTs the bowl and sanitizes the bowl and wands after use, which keeps the unit hygienic and also makes it even tougher for residue to stick to the bowl. The only notable difference between the two units is that the Neorest 750H features TOTO’s unique Actilight technology, while the Neorest NX1 does not. Actilight is a Ultraviolet light that interacts with the CeFiONtect glaze and the EWATER+ to further break down any particles left in the bowl.
NX1 Upgrades
The TOTO Neorest NX1 and Neorest 750H have all the same basic elements, but the NX1 features notable upgrades to the bowl, seat and flushing system. First, the Neorest NX1’s bowl is rimless, meaning it’s a smooth surface from top to bottom with no grooves, lips or ledges where bacteria and dirt can hide. Next, the Neorest NX1 comes with an updated seat design that’s intended to hug the user in all the right places, making for an even more comfortable and stable sit than before. Finally, the NX1’s new and improved Tornado Flushing system that now has the ability to forcefully sweep away residue from areas of the bowl that are most likely to attract it. While these updated features aren’t particularly flashy, they do take an already good product and make it even better.
Final Thoughts
You’ll be getting the best money can buy with either the TOTO Neorest NX1 or the TOTO Neorest 750H, with the main differences being the unit’s look, the the Actilight cleaning system (the Neorest 750H has it, the Neorest NX1 does not), and the upgrades to the NX1’s bowl, seat and flushing system. While this makes for a tough decision, the good news is that either unit is sure to please and will stop your guests in their tracks with their high end design and cutting-edge features.
