For my first bidet, I wanted all the bells and whistles at a “reasonable” price. This bidet perfectly fits the bill. My wife was initially skeptical but now thinks it’s the best home purchase we have ever made! It has truly upgraded and improved our bathroom experience. The feeling of clean is indescribable and I don’t see us ever going back to regular toilet paper.

- Can I install this bidet seat myself?
About 95% of our customers install this seat on their own in well under an hour. If you decide to hire help, you can often hire a handy person instead of a plumber, and thus get less expensive help, but these seats are designed to be installed without professional help.
Answer by : Daniel Johnson on Sep 15, 2020 01:10:24 PM - Does this seat fit cleanly on the Toto Aquia IV 1-piece toilet. I can\'t tell for certain how cleanly they fit together when comparing the two spec sheets and instructions.
The Eco-Nova fits very nicely on the Aquia IV. There should not be any overhang in the front or on the sides.
Answer by : Arin F. on May 2, 2024 11:08:17 AM - When installing this or for that matter any toilet seat bidet, do you advise adding a bidet filter to the water line?
That really depends on the quality of your water. Adding an inline water filter can certainly help lengthen the lifespan of your bidet. One thing to note is that not all manufacturer's support the use of inline water filters. If you have any doubt about whether the bidet you're considering can be paired with a filter and not jeopardize it's warranty, please just reach out and we would be happy to help answer any questions you have.
Answer by : George Meserve on Jan 31, 2024 12:18:49 PM - When installing this or any toilet seat bidet, do you advise using a bidet filter in the water line?
While an inline water filter is not required, if you have issues like hard water then adding a filter can extend the life of the bidet.
Answer by : Arin F. on Jan 15, 2024 11:37:06 AM - Does it have a power-saving mode to reduce electricity costs for heating the water when not in use?
The Eco-Nova has an instant water heating system so it heats on demand instead of keeping a constantly heated reservoir of warm water. It also is equipped with an eco mode that reduces settings to save on power usage.
Answer by : Arin F. on Apr 15, 2024 02:59:54 PM - How long is the power cord?
The power cord is approximately 4 feet long.
Answer by : Arin on May 31, 2024 09:49:30 AM - Can you please tell me where these are made? Thanks
This particular seat is manufactured in China. It also comes with a four year full warranty.
Answer by : Andrew C. on Sep 24, 2024 04:16:57 PM - Will the Eco Nova bidet seat fit on Kohler Gleam K-31674 toilet?
The Eco Nova should fit the elongated version of the Kohler Gleam toilet. If you every want to be sure about bidet/toilet compatibility though, reach out to our customer service team, and they will provide the measurements you need to take to determine exactly which bidet seats will fit your toilet.
Answer by : Jordy D. on Oct 23, 2025 11:36:10 AM - Does the warranty cover issues with the lid?
The Eco Nova's warranty covers all parts, including the lid, for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use. It does not cover scratching or staining from use of chemicals or cleaning agents, but if the lid were to break under normal use, that would be covered.
Answer by : Jordy D. on Oct 24, 2025 01:53:18 PM - How do you know of this toilet seat fits my toilet? And do you ship to Norway?
Great question! The Eco-Nova works on elongated toilets only. To determine your toilets shape, measure from the seats bolt holes to the front rim of the bowl. If you come up with 18.5" then you have an elongated toilet. Next you will want to measure from the those same bolt holes to the front of the toilets tank, if you have 1.5" or more, you should have a great fit. Unfortunately, we do not ship directly to Norway. However, if you have a freight forwarder in the US, we would be happy to ship it to them.
Answer by : Arin F. on Oct 9, 2025 12:51:55 PM - does it fit Toto Ultramax elongated low consumption toilet with sanagloss
Yes, the Eco Nova should fit the Toto elongated Ultramax. Keep in mind that if your Ultramax is a Washlet+ version, which has the extra hole for the bidet cord and hose to route down through, the Eco Nova's cord and hose will not route down through that hole, but will come of the sides of the bidet seat like normal. If you do have the Washlet+ version and want a bidet seat that's cord and hose go through the designated hole, consider a Toto Washlet seat like the S7A!
Answer by : Jordy D. on Oct 9, 2025 01:00:57 PM - How often does the steel mesh filter need to be cleaned? The instructions are listed on the page under \"daily cleaning\" but clearly it doesn\'t need that! Also, you might want to add the warning to shut off the water supply before removing the filter; it seems obvious in retrospect, but following the instructions without this step leads to a major puddle on the floor!
We recommend cleaning the steel mesh filter every 6 months, or if you notice a loss of water pressure to your bidet. If you have particularly hard or sedimented water, cleaning it every 3-4 months can be beneficial.
Answer by : Jordy D. on Oct 9, 2025 01:23:26 PM - How do you remove the filter for cleaning on the eco nova bidet?
You can clean the steel mesh filter by first turning off the water inlet, then you can use a coin and turn counterclockwise to open the filter, although can sometimes be a bit tricky to get it to turn. Once it's open, you can simply clean it with a small brush, such as a toothbrush! Typically its recommended to clean this part just a few times a year unless you have really hard water. If that is the case, we recommend doing it every 2-3 months. This information, along with other cleaning steps, are displayed in the manual (pg. 12) which you can find here: https://www.manybidets.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Eco-Nova-Users-manual-2026-04-21.pdf
Answer by : Aleah on May 13, 2026 01:14:58 PM - I am curious about the power cord. How long is it and what gauge is it? I am guessing that I would need an additional cord to reach my plug in. Thanks
The Eco Nova power cord is 4' long, and comes out the left side of the seat when facing. You can safely plug it into a 16 gauge minimum extension cord.
Answer by : Jordy D. on May 12, 2026 01:21:07 PM - What is the power draw to plan for when providing electrical service to the area?
The maximum pull of the Eco nova has 1140W. A dedicated 20 amp circuit is recommended, however, most of our customers plug it into a shared 20 amp bathroom circuit and have no issue.
Answer by : Jordy D. on May 12, 2026 01:16:36 PM - Will this fit The KOHLER® Battan The Complete Solution® two-piece elongated toilet through Lowe\'s
The Eco Nova should work well with the Kohler Battan two-piece toilet.

This seat is fantastic! Super easy to install, great bidet functions, easy remote, nice features, good price. Want one of these on every toilet in the house!

If I didn’t have a ToTo, higher priced bidet, then I would’ve given the Eco-NOVA a 5 star. But at nearly half the price, you’re getting a lot for the money. I feel the stream on the Eco-NOVA is a bit less (but not enough to justify the higher cost of the ToTo. The additional features such as auto open/close, personalized settings, quieter operation, etc. are worth it in my opinion).

it this rating The Eco Nova bidet seat has completely met my expectations. It has the features that make it comfortable and effective. The low profile looks also fit well in our bathroom. The one thing Nova could do to improve is to include a more descriptive owner’s manual. The power-on light changes colors… why does it do that?
Installation easy; anyone familiar with an adjustable wrench and a phillips screwdriver can install it.

I ordered an Eco-NOVA as an upgrade to a 6 year old Smartbidet 1000. When it arrived I unpacked the contents on a folding table. I noticed the clip for the collar that secures the water supply to the bidet was missing. I decided to proceed with the installation and notified Manybidets I needed the clip. My toilet is in a very confined area and the installation was anything but smooth.
Once everything was in and working it didn’t take long to see that this is a significant upgrade over my previous bidet.
A couple of points:
1. The continuous warm water is a great feature. There IS a brief spurt of cold water at the start.
2. The wider dispersion of the spray is a good feature. I still find a “bidet shuffle” necessary. I wonder if a nozzle could be designed to oscillate side to side in addition to back and forth.
3.The dryer is much more accurate than the one on my old bidet. It still requires some moving around to get it to the “target”. Would a 2nd dryer on the other side of the nozzle help?
The Eco-Nova is a great bidet. The sanitary features alone make it a must have. The bottom(pun intended) line on any bidet is that it must get you clean comfortably and efficiently and the Eco-Nova delivers.

This bidet is well made, was easy to install, and is easy to operate. We’ve been using it a few weeks and are totally satisfied. We especially like the continuous warm water (that starts warm), the oscillating sprayer, and the effective drier. We highly recommend it!

Knowledge of product, ability to troubleshoot my particular situation and partner with me to find the best solution. I never felt they were trying to push the most expensive product just to get a sale. I felt like they’d rather have a lifetime customer, that a onetime sale.
