Detailed comparison of the Bio Bidet A8 Serenity Advanced and Bio Bidet USPA 6800 bidet seats.

Crafted with high quality materials and equipped with great wash options, the Bio Bidet USPA 6800 and Bio Bidet A8 will add comfort and convenience to your bathroom. In this article, we go through the specific details and differences between these bidet seats to help you choose the best option for your household.

Both made by the well known Bio Bidet Company, the A8 and USPA 6800 are specifically designed to upgrade your bathroom routine into a more luxurious experience. Not only do they offer valuable, cleansing wash options, but they also look great. In comparison to the USPA 6800, the A8 does possess a more sleek and streamlined design. The A8 also includes special hose clips so you can keep everything neatly tucked away and looking tidy.

For those who have a round toilet seat, the USPA 6800 can accommodate your toilet, as well as elongated styles. Unfortunately, the A8 is only available for in an elongated style.

Water Heater

The USPA 6800 comes equipped with a tank style water heater that will produce about 60 seconds of warm water before needing to refill and reheat. It then takes around 3 to 5 minutes for the refilling process to take place. Alternatively, the BB-2000 includes a more desirable hybrid water heater, which can supply you with unlimited warm water on demand. This is a nice option to have if you don’t want to worry about hurrying through your cleansing cycle, or if you have a lot of people in your household that will be using the seat.

Wash & Dry

The USPA 6800 comes equipped with 2 separate plastic nozzles that perform its front and rear wash cycles. On the other hand, the A8 includes a single, stainless steel, 2-in-1 nozzle that provides it’s two main washes. Stainless steel is typically a preferable and more hygienic material for bidet seat nozzles because it naturally repels germs and inhibits bacteria growth. That being said, these seats’ nozzles are both self cleaning, adjust to numerous positions, and perform oscillating and pulse washes so you can find what’s most comfortable for your body.

Water Flow

A high water flow rate is known to help provide a more effective and faster wash. In this comparison, the USPA 6800’s water flow rate is 0.26  gallons per minute, Which is slightly more powerful than the A8’s rate of 0.18. A higher water flow rate can be a great option for those who suffer from urinary and bowel incontinence since it can help provide a thorough cleaning after an accident.

Aeration is a process where air bubbles are infused into a bidet seats water stream. This is a standard feature for most bidet seats, including the USPA 6800. Infact, the majority of bidet seats on the market today have permanently aerated water streams except the Bio Bidet A8, which gives you the unique option to turn aeration on and off.

Aeration creates a stronger, more pressurized water stream, which a great feature for most, but for those with extra sensitively it may be too harsh. For those who suffer from excessive tenderness, hemorrhoids, or even those recovering from certain surgeries, turning aeration off and achieving a weaker stream may be beneficial.

Warm Air Dryer

While both of these seats offer convenient, adjustable temperature warm air dryers, the A8 takes this feature a step further with customizable temperature and power. With the A8, you can choose between the standard dryer setting and the powerful turbo option for an even faster dry.

Additional Details

LED Night Light

This is another convenient luxury feature that the Bio Bidet A8 includes. For those who frequent the bathroom at night, the built in night light is a nice feature that allows you to see around your bathroom so you don’t have to turn on a harsh light. The USPA 6800 does not come with a built in night light.

User Presets

This is a great option to have if you will be sharing your bidet seat with another household member. Through user presets, you have the ability to pre-program your favorite settings into the control panel so the bidet seat can perform your personal wash options without you having to reconfigure it with every use. The A8 comes equipped with this convenient feature and allows you to set presets for up to two users. This is not an option on the USPA 6800.

Remote Controls

Both the A8 and USPA 6800 come with standard size remotes that can be handheld or mounted to the wall. The USPA remote clearly presents its options via icon buttons and has a screen to display your chosen preferences. On the other hand, the A8 comes with a sleek and intuitive dual sided remote. The On the front side of the A8 remote you will find a simple display of the seat’s basic functions, while on the reverse side is a screen for programming the more advanced features. This display is great for guests or for those who only want to access the seat’s basic functions.

Final Thoughts

These two bidet seats are both high quality products from the very reputable Bio Bidet company, and they both offer some great functions. However, we can see that the A8 offers a few more features than the USPA 6800, like stainless steel nozzles, an integrated night light, user presets, a hybrid water heater and turbo dry. While the USPA 6800 is a great option for those shopping on a budget, the extra luxury features that the A8 offers really put it a step above. Furthermore, if you happen to struggle with any extra sensitivity, the A8 with its adjustable aeration is a must have. At the end of the day, it depends on what you looking to get out of your bidet seat, and which options are required for your household.
