Detailed comparison of the Blooming Bidet R1063 and Bio Bidet dib-850 Bidet Toilet Seats

The Blooming Bidet R1063 and the Bio Bidet dib-850 are two wonderfully designed bidet seats that offer great options and technology for comfort, convenience and cleanliness. In the following article, we will discuss the details and differences between these two products so that you may make the best decision for your needs.

Design

The Bio Bidet dib-850 and Blooming Bidet R1063 are elegantly crafted with high quality materials. If you like a sleek and modern look for your bathroom, you will love the smooth, streamlined style of the Bio Bidet dib-850. On the other hand, the Blooming Bidet R1063 features a classy beveled edge that has a more traditional feel. Both of these seat models are available in a classic white color and are also made in elongated and round options.

An interesting design feature on the dib-850 is its specially curved and contoured seat, which better conforms to your body shape and allows you to sit in a more natural body position. Not only does this improve your all around comfort, but it also provides extra support for your back. In fact, thanks to this unique design, the Bio Bidet dib-850 is considered to be one of the most comfortable seats on the market today.

It’s also worth noting that the Blooming Bidet R1063 is designed to accommodate difficult-to-fit French curve toilets like the the Kohler Rialto, San Raphael and Rosario.

Wash Features

Nozzles

The Blooming Bidet R1063 comes equipped with a single, 2-in-1 aluminum nozzle that performs the seat’s front and rear wash functions. Alternatively, the Bio BIdet dib-850 comes with a single, stainless steel 3-in-1 nozzle for its front, rear and enema washes. Stainless steel is the superior material for a bidet seat nozzle due to its hygienic, germ and bacteria resistant properties. Additionally, both bidet seat nozzles are self cleaning, adjustable and provide an oscillating function.

Although it is rare that you would have to remove your bidet seat nozzles, it is worth mentioning that the dib-850 nozzle is easily removable while the R1053 nozzle is not.

Water Flow

The Bio Bidet dib-850 has a water flow rate of 0.16 gallons per minute while the Blooming Bidet R1063 has a slightly higher rate of 0.18 gallons per minute. While these rates are very similar, usually a higher rate of water flow will give you more water pressure and therefore a faster, more effective wash cycle.

Enema Wash

If you or someone in your household suffers from frequent constipation, the enema wash function is a must have feature. The Bio Bidet dib-850 comes equipped with a powerful enema wash that utilizes Bio Bidet’s patented vortex technology. This special wash sprays a strong, circular stream of water into the rectum that loosens stubborn stool, helps to stimulate bowel movements and provides relief from uncomfortable constipation.

Wide Spray

A nice option offered by the Bio Bidet dib-850 is the wide spray function, which is ideal for those looking for more water coverage. The wide spray can also speed up the wash process so you can get clean and on your way a bit faster. Although the Blooming R1063 does not have a wide spray feature, it’s high water flow rate of 0.18 gallons per minute as mentioned above, does partially compensate for the lack of this feature.

Pulse Wash

The pulse wash is a comforting feature that sprays water in an alternating hard and soft stream. This creates a massaging effect that can soothe tender areas and even stimulate bowel movements. The Bio Bidet dib-850 comes with the pulse wash feature while the R1063 does not.

Comfort & Convenience

Sittable Lid

Another of the Bio Bidet dib-850’s unique features is the addition of a convenient sittable lid. Sitting on a toilet seat lid is something we usually take for granted and wouldn’t think twice about. In reality, this is a rare feature for a bidet seat due to the complicated hardware that is stored within the housing of the seat. The sittable lid is a great feature to have if someone in your household likes to sit on the lid for clipping or painting toenails. The dib-850’s lid can accommodate up to 200 pounds.

Deodorizer

If you are concerned about bad odors stinking up your bathroom, a deodorizer is a great option to have on your bidet seat. The Bio Bidet dib-850 utilizes a powerful fan that pulls air through an active carbon filter, which absorbs and eliminates odors. This leaves you bathroom smelling fresh and clean with every use. The Blooming Bidet R1063 does not have a deodorizer.

User Presets

User presets are a convenient feature to have, particularly if you will be sharing your bidet seat with another household member. The preset function allows you to program personal wash settings for up to two users into the remote. This means that you will not have to reconfigure the seat every time you use it. The Bio Bidet dib-850 comes with user presets while the Blooming Bidet R1063 does not.

Remote & Control Options

A unique option on the Blooming Bidet R1063 is the ability to choose your style of remote. One option is a small, standard size remote with flat buttons and a screen for choosing options. The other option is a large panel-style remote that also has flat buttons. The large remote is a great option for people with dexterity or mobility limitations, since its design makes it a bit easier to operate. Alternatively, the Bio Bidet dib-850 comes with a sleek, single sided remote that has a flat screen interface and an illumination feature for showing your chosen settings. All three remotes mentioned are wall mountable for further accessibility and convenience.

R1063 Remote Options:

Warranty

While both both Bio Bidet and Blooming Bidet offer generous 3 year full warranties for their respective seats, what sets Bio Bidet ahead is their extended warranty option. Bio Bidet gives customers the option to purchase an extended warranty for up to 6 full years, doubling your standard coverage. If you are someone you prefers having an extra insurance policy on your investments, you will certainly appreciate what Bio Bidet has to offer.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the Bio Bidet dib-850 comes with more features than the Blooming Bidet R1063. These additional features include an enema wash, user presets, a deodorizer and a sittable lid. That said, if you are trying to fit a unique, French curve toilet or if you would benefit from the large panel style remote, the Blooming Bidet R1063 is a solid choice.
