If you are looking for design options, The TOTO S550e is available in two different trim options, classic and contemporary, as well as two color options to match your style preferences. The Bio Bidet dib-850 is only offered in one trim and color option, but offers a sleek, modern look as well as a seat that is contoured for ultimate comfort.
While both the TOTO S550e and the Bio Bidet dib-850 offer great features like an adjustable heated seat, warm air dryer, LED night light, wireless remote, and built-in deodorizer, there are some design differences between the two.
If a sittable lid is an important feature to you, the dib-850 will be your best option in this situation, as the S550e does not offer that feature.
The TOTO S550e also features an automatic opening and closing lid, while the Bio Bidet dib-850 only can auto close. Depending on your preference, these features can also be turned off and the lid can be opened and closed manually.
The S550e offers a single nozzle system made of plastic that is unfortunately not easy to replace, while the dib-850 features a single 3-in-1 stainless steel nozzle that is easily replaceable when necessary. It’s also worth noting that the TOTO S550e nozzle system offers on demand sterilization with EWATER+ (electrolyzed water) while the the Bio Bidet dib-850 does not.
The TOTO S550e and Bio Bidet dib-850 each have features that provide a great, comfortable wash, but if constipation is something you struggle with and you are looking for an enema wash feature, the dib-850 is the seat for you.
The Bio Bidet dib-850 offers the convenience of a one button wash and dry feature, while the S550e does not.
The Bio Bidet db-850 offers a 3 year full warranty that can be extended to 6 years if you are looking for extra coverage, while the TOTO S550e only offers non-upgradable 1 year full warranty.

If an enema wash or a sittable lid are must have features, then the Bio Bidet dib-850 will be your best option. On the other hand, if an automatically closing and opening lid and nozzle sterilization is important to you, you will want to consider the TOTO S550e.
