One Toto Neorest feature that is often underutilized, is the manual cleaning options.
If we take a look at the back of the remote, and we go into the menu options, we have manual cleaning. Super straightforward to use. You highlight the feature that you want and you hit the enter button. If I hit the enter button on bowl cleaning, that is going to run a manual flush. It’s going to basically wet the inside of the bowl and run a flush.
The wand cleaning option is going to do a cleaning cycle on the wand. It’ll then bring the wand out so that i can clean it with a soft toothbrush or something like that. Basically run it through a self-cleaning cycle and then leave the wand out so that I can manually clean it.
Then lastly here, manual clean, this just runs a pre-mist on the bowl. For those of you unfamiliar with the term pre-mist, it is a Toto feature; where the unit sprays the bowl down with water, to help eliminate debris from sticking to the bowl.
Again, we’re dealing with a flushing action, where it sprays the bowl down as well.
A nozzle cleaning, where it leaves the nozzle out so that we can manually clean it. Then a manual clean where it sprays the bowl down. For this wand cleaning option, once the nozzle comes out and we’re done cleaning it, we just hit the button a second time and the nozzle retracts.
