TOTO Neorest AH Integrated Toilet and WASHLET

The TOTO Neorest AC and the Neorest AH both come packed with high-end features designed to give you the best bidet experience around. Even so, there are a couple key differences between the two, which we’ve outlined below to make deciding between them easy.

Look & Feel

One of the more noticeable differences between the Neorest AC and the Neorest AH are looks. The Neorest AC is a wall mounted unit, so it doesn’t touch the floor, and it has a boxy silhouette with a chic, curved lid. The Neorest AH is a floor mounted unit and features a crisp, simple design that bridges the gap between traditional and contemporary styles. The Neorest AC is only available in white, so it may not be the best choice if you’re dead set on an off white unit, but the Neorest AH comes in both white and beige.

Mounting

The Neorest AC is a wall-mounted unit, so the only part visible is the toilet bowl; the flushing mechanism and the water tank are hidden in the wall. This means that the Neorest AC is more compact than the average integrated unit, making it an appealing choice for bathrooms where space is limited. In contrast, the Neorest AH is a floor-mounted unit and, like most floor mounted toilets, requires a 12″ rough-in (12 inches from the back wall to the center of the drain or flange).

Actilight

Actilight is TOTO’s cutting edge self-cleaning technology that uses UV light, electrolyzed water, and naturally present oxygen to break down residue and destroy bacteria and germs. This special self-cleaning system comes standard on the TOTO Neorest AC but not on the Neorest AH.

Summary

In our opinion, the first thing to consider is whether self-cleaning technology is on your list of must-have features. If it is, then the Neorest AC will meet your needs above and beyond the Neorest AH. Secondly, consider which mounting style and overall design fits your needs and asethetic best. Keep in mind that between these two, only the Neorest AH comes in beige. While deciding between two great units like the Neorest AC and the Neorest AH can be tough, but you can rest easy knowing that you’re getting a high quality unit with either one.
