The TOTO Neorest NX1 unit is classy and sleek. In our mind, it’s the sleekest, most luxurious looking toilet made to-date. Smooth curves, and a sculpted design that would make it the perfect option for the most extravagant bathrooms on the planet. This unit is floor mounted, and like most floor mounted toilets, requires a 12 inch rough in. This means there needs to be 12 inches from the center of the drain or flange to the back wall.
The TOTO Neorest EW is the first wall mounted integrated unit on our line-up. This is great for locations where space is tight and conserving space is of utmost importance. The fact that this unit is wall mounted does give it a very different look and feel. Class and luxury is something you’ll get with either of the two units though.
When creating the Neorest NX1, TOTO redesigned three of the seat’s core elements–the bowl, seat, and flushing system–to improve functionality and user comfort. For starters, while TOTO is know for its comfortable seats, the NX1’s seat silhouette has been updated to provide users with even more stability and support than before. Additionally, the Neorest NX1 features a highly unique rimless bowl that gives dirt no place to hide and makes cleaning easier than ever. Last but not least, the NX1’s reconfigured Tornado Flush System provides a strong, powerful flush that is capable of sweeping residue away from even the hardest to reach parts of the bowl. These changes may seem small but, taken together, make a great product even better. In comparison, the TOTO Neorest EW’s basic elements haven’t been redesigned, so while you’ll get TOTO’s signature quality and comfort, it won’t be quite on the same level as the NX1.
There’s about $1000 difference in price between the TOTO Neorest NX1 and the TOTO Neorest EW, with the NX1 coming in at $ 7210.00 and the EW costing $ 5898.20. Keep in mind that what you’re paying extra for with the NX1 are the upgrades to the unit’s basic elements (bowl, seat and flushing system) as well as the unbeatably stylish design.
