The Both Bio Bidet's BB-2000 and BB-1700 offers warm water from the very start of the wash till the very end. This is due to the hybrid water heater they use. The small hot water tank (that's built into the seat) allows for instant hot water, and the instant water heater allows for unlimited warm water. It's important to note that most bidet seats that offer hybrid water heaters do not offer unlimited warm water as instant water heater used is not powerful enough to keep up with the wash. This makes the Bliss heater pretty unique

About 95% of our customers install this seat on their own in well under an hour. If you decide to hire help, you can often hire a handy person instead of a plumber, and thus get less expensive help, but these seats are designed to be installed without professional help.

Is the screen on the Bio Bidet Bliss BB-2000 backlit?
The Bio Bidet Bliss BB-2000 screen in not backlit, but most of the options are clear enough from the way that the wash feels that most customers do not find this to be a problem

What side of this seat does the cord come out of?
When facing the toilet the electrical cord comes out of the right hand side, and the water connection comes out of the left hand side.

How Often does the BB-2000's nozzle tip need to be changed?
While the BB-2000 has a removable nozzle tip, many customers never have to change the tip out. If you have hard water, and are not in the habit of cleaning the bidet regularly, the tip might built up with sediment over time. In situations like this, the tip may need replacing. This is really the only situation where replacing the tip is a must. Long story short, the removable tip on the Bio Bidet Bliss BB-2000 is nice to have, but chances are it won't be something you'll end up taking advantage of.

It's hard to say if the white or black remote is more popular among those purchasing the Bio Bidet Bliss BB-2000. One of the main reasons for this comes from the fact that the default color is white, so if a customer doesn't think about the color options, they will automatically get the white remote. That being said, the color you choose really depends on the bathroom decor. The black remote does show dirt less than the white, and the contrast often looks more classy.

The Bio Bidet BB-2000 night light is one of the only night lights that lights up the outside of the bowl, instead of the inside. This nightlight lights up the control panel located on the left side of the seat when facing the toilet. The night light is blue in color.

Is there a battery powered version of this bidet?
Sadly this bidet does not have a battery operated version. This bidet requires too much power to realistically rely on a standard battery, as the electrical pull is too high. This bidet uses a standard 3 prong GFCI outlet.

This bidet seat comes with everything needed to install and operate the bidet seat on a normal toilet. If you have a skirted toilet and thus don't have access to the bottom side of the bolts that connect the toilet seat to the bowl, you may need additional hardware, which you can find below: Alternate T Connector Top-Mount Hardware Kit If you have hard water, you may also consider pairing your seat with an ion water filter. If you use a filter, you'll want to make sure to change it out every 6 to 9 months.

I want to install 2 of these in 2 bathrooms which are directly on top of one another. Both toilets and therefore the remotes will be separated by about 8 feet and a thin layer of plywood and drywall. Is there an issue with the remotes interfering with one another or worse, activating the wrong bidet if both are in use at the same time?
Great question! You should not have any issues with the specific space between them. Typically IR signals will not penetrate opaque objects such as walls.

I\'m assuming you can\'t see/use the remote at night in a dark (toilet room) without turning on a light? Would a dim night light work to see the display?
A dim night-light should be enough to make out the buttons and LCD screen.

Overall, I cannot find fault with this model at the moment. It has only been two weeks and every feature has performed as expected or better. I purchased the BB-2000 to replace a Bio Bidet USPA 6800 that I had purchase seven-plus years ago. The only problem with the 6800 that drove a new purchase was that the base had broken to where the seat cover no longer stayed on the system. The functioning of the bidet was still excellent but I felt that after seven years, it was time to replace it. Thus, I bought two BB-2000 based on the knowledge of the long life of the USPA 6800.
The BB-2000 exceeds the USPA 6800 in that it has a single, stainless steel nozzle that is self-cleaning and can also be removed for deeper cleaning. It also has constant water temperature which is a welcomed feature. The 6800 had a tank that once the heated water had been used, then the spray became cold. I have had no such experience with the BB-2000 and I would say that one could run it indefinitely without concern for getting sprayed with cold water.
The pressure has been great, comfortable, and adjustable as is the water and seat temperature.
I love the energy saving feature whereby it does not allow the seat get too cold and begins to warm once one sits on it.
Regarding water temperature with the energy saving mode, if one begins a spray upon sitting, it will be cold. However, if one waits for the seat to warm up, then the water will also be warm. The seat is your guide as to when is the best time to commence the spray.
The quality of construction is sturdy, the operation of the functions are smooth and quiet, and I expect the BB-2000 to last as long as my 6800 did or longer. The construction of the BB-2000 is such that it will also be easier to swap parts if needed.
Aesthetically, the seat is very pleasing and does not present itself as a cheap addition to the bathroom. It has a very gentle atmosphere of class and style coupled with soft, blue night light that gives it a rich look at night.

I installed the Bio Bidet BB-2000 on the next day after I received it. The installation process took approximately 25 minutes (including cleaning) and it’s simple enough to “do it yourself”. The bidet does what it’s advertised and clean with warm water. The possible future improvement may be warm air drying. So far, we love this bio bidet!
