The Toto Neorest line offers a beeping function, to allow the operator to confirm that the remote and the unit are speaking to one another.
If you’re not sure if the remote signal is making it to the unit. If beeping is turned on, you know that it is, because when you press a button on the remote the unit beeps.
Having beeping on the unit may not be optimal. Toto does offer a way to turn this off. Under the menu settings if we scroll down to “other settings” and hit the enter button. Go down to “beep”, hit the right or left arrow and hit enter. Now we have turned beeping off.
To turn it on, simply repeat the process and beeping is back on. We can turn it off or on, depending on our preference and what we need at that moment in time.
We can go back to the main menu option, by hitting the menu/back button.
