My mother is 86 and has dementia. She is a big part of our family and continues to live with us. Personal hygiene has become a challenge of late. She’s a proud person and to safeguard her dignity, we opted for a Bidet. The Cascade 3000 is very well designed and contains all the features one could need. It works perfectly and was easy to install. My mother is over the moon. I would not hesitate to recommend this item to anyone of my friends or in my family

Can I install this bidet seat myself?
About 95% of our customers install this seat on their own in well under an hour. If you decide to hire help, you can often hire a handy person instead of a plumber, and thus get less expensive help, but these seats are designed to be installed without professional help.

Can the Cascade 3000's remote be operated by a foot?
One of the great things about the size of the buttons on the Cascade 3000 bidet seat is that they can be operated by much more than just a finger. These buttons can be pressed with an elbow, or one can mount the remote near the floor and operate it with their feet. The fact that these large buttons are also color coded further helps foot operation as it's easier to see what button you need to press.

Is there a battery powered version of this bidet?
Sadly this bidet does not have a battery operated version. This bidet requires too much power to realistically rely on a standard battery, as the electrical pull is too high. This bidet uses a standard 3 prong GFCI outlet.

What does this bidet seat come with? Do I need anything else for install?
This bidet seat comes with everything needed to install and operate the bidet seat on a normal toilet. If you have a skirted toilet and thus don't have access to the bottom side of the bolts that connect the toilet seat to the bowl, you may need additional hardware, which you can find below: Alternate T Connector Top-Mount Hardware Kit If you have hard water, you may also consider pairing your seat with an ion water filter. If you use a filter, you'll want to make sure to change it out every 6 to 9 months.

When installing this or any toilet seat bidet, do you advise using a bidet filter in the water line?
While an inline water filter is not required, if you have issues like hard water then adding a filter can extend the life of the bidet.

After quite a bit of research we decided on purchasing the Cascade 3000 and we’re glad we did. Since this was our first bidet, the main reasons we went with this model were the 60-day trial and 3-year warranty.
It was easy to install since we planned ahead and had an electrician install an outlet next to the toilet during a recent remodel. Using basic hand tools, I installed the seat in well under an hour and it fit nicely on a new Kohler Cimaron elongated toilet.
We have the settings about mid- to low-range…not too hot…not too powerful…and it seems to fit both of our needs. Initially, we thought we wanted the smaller remote, but they were out of stock. They sent us the larger style (about 50% larger than a smart phone) and said we could request the smaller one when it became available; however, after a couple of weeks, we decided to keep the larger model and had it mounted. It’s a little bulky, but easy to operate. So far…so happy with our purchase!

We really like the bidet. For women, it could do a better job of the front option. We like the seat, it is plastic, but seems fine. We like the spray force as well. We like the controller with the large buttons.

The whole process was simple from start to finish. The product itself just works, which is fantastic these days.

We are so happy with this bidet! So easy to install and absolutely love it! You could spend less for a cheaper product but don’t! This has every option you will need and once you have it you’ll wonder why you waited so long to get one
