My mother is 86 and has dementia. She is a big part of our family and continues to live with us. Personal hygiene has become a challenge of late. She’s a proud person and to safeguard her dignity, we opted for a Bidet. The Cascade 3000 is very well designed and contains all the features one could need. It works perfectly and was easy to install. My mother is over the moon. I would not hesitate to recommend this item to anyone of my friends or in my family

Can I install this bidet seat myself?
About 95% of our customers install this seat on their own in well under an hour. If you decide to hire help, you can often hire a handy person instead of a plumber, and thus get less expensive help, but these seats are designed to be installed without professional help.

Can the Cascade 3000's remote be operated by a foot?
One of the great things about the size of the buttons on the Cascade 3000 bidet seat is that they can be operated by much more than just a finger. These buttons can be pressed with an elbow, or one can mount the remote near the floor and operate it with their feet. The fact that these large buttons are also color coded further helps foot operation as it's easier to see what button you need to press.

Is there a battery powered version of this bidet?
Sadly this bidet does not have a battery operated version. This bidet requires too much power to realistically rely on a standard battery, as the electrical pull is too high. This bidet uses a standard 3 prong GFCI outlet.

What does this bidet seat come with? Do I need anything else for install?
This bidet seat comes with everything needed to install and operate the bidet seat on a normal toilet. If you have a skirted toilet and thus don't have access to the bottom side of the bolts that connect the toilet seat to the bowl, you may need additional hardware, which you can find below: Alternate T Connector Top-Mount Hardware Kit If you have hard water, you may also consider pairing your seat with an ion water filter. If you use a filter, you'll want to make sure to change it out every 6 to 9 months.

When installing this or any toilet seat bidet, do you advise using a bidet filter in the water line?
While an inline water filter is not required, if you have issues like hard water then adding a filter can extend the life of the bidet.

First-time bidet user; really makes you feel clean! I appreciate all the bells and whistles, being able to adjust water temp, pressure, air flow, etc., as well as the nice large buttons on the remote control. Installation went smoothly, and no issues during this past first month of use. Took only a day or two to get used to the slight upward-slant of the seat. The soft-close feature is nice, and the seat itself is sturdy to sit on for putting on clothing. Glad I purchased!
The Cascade 3000 seemed to be the best choice to suit my needs among all the bidets I researched.
