My mother is 86 and has dementia. She is a big part of our family and continues to live with us. Personal hygiene has become a challenge of late. She’s a proud person and to safeguard her dignity, we opted for a Bidet. The Cascade 3000 is very well designed and contains all the features one could need. It works perfectly and was easy to install. My mother is over the moon. I would not hesitate to recommend this item to anyone of my friends or in my family

Can I install this bidet seat myself?
About 95% of our customers install this seat on their own in well under an hour. If you decide to hire help, you can often hire a handy person instead of a plumber, and thus get less expensive help, but these seats are designed to be installed without professional help.

When facing the toilet the electrical cord comes out of the right hand side, and the water connection comes out of the left hand side.

Can the Cascade 3000's remote be operated by a foot?
One of the great things about the size of the buttons on the Cascade 3000 bidet seat is that they can be operated by much more than just a finger. These buttons can be pressed with an elbow, or one can mount the remote near the floor and operate it with their feet. The fact that these large buttons are also color coded further helps foot operation as it's easier to see what button you need to press.

Is there a battery powered version of this bidet?
Sadly this bidet does not have a battery operated version. This bidet requires too much power to realistically rely on a standard battery, as the electrical pull is too high. This bidet uses a standard 3 prong GFCI outlet.

What does this bidet seat come with? Do I need anything else for install?
This bidet seat comes with everything needed to install and operate the bidet seat on a normal toilet. If you have a skirted toilet and thus don't have access to the bottom side of the bolts that connect the toilet seat to the bowl, you may need additional hardware, which you can find below: Alternate T Connector Top-Mount Hardware Kit If you have hard water, you may also consider pairing your seat with an ion water filter. If you use a filter, you'll want to make sure to change it out every 6 to 9 months.

When installing this or any toilet seat bidet, do you advise using a bidet filter in the water line?
While an inline water filter is not required, if you have issues like hard water then adding a filter can extend the life of the bidet.

In an effort to make our new home age-in-place friendly, we decided to get bidet seats well before we developed any crucial need for them. After a great deal of online research (there aren’t a lot of people you can just call up and ask how they like their bidet), we ordered one Cascade 3000 for each toilet. The Cascades are well designed, unusually well made, and documented thoroughly with well-written guides and manuals: the manufacturer thought of everything, and no detail has escaped them. We’re learning how to use them (it does take some practice to figure out how best to operate the seats, although the seats themselves have worked flawlessly). What everyone has told us about using a bidet has proven true for us: the ease and cleanliness of the Cascade are as unexpected as they are welcome. We can see why bidets are considered a luxury, and are more confident that the passing years will find us well equipped to attend to personal hygiene should age or infirmity affect our mobility.
Our handyman, who installed the seats for us, remarked on how well built they were and asked us for the Web address of the manufacturer. I’m just some rando doing age-in-place upgrades, but he’s seen thousands of bathroom setups, and if he’s impressed, that’s saying something.
One more note. Yes, this is an expensive rig–I don’t know of a bidet seat that costs more than the Cascade 3000. Considering the build quality, the ease of installation, the multifunctional operation, the clarity of the control boxes and documentation, and the extras like the user weight capacity and the sittable lid, it’s worth every penny to us. Given reasonable care to the unit (like, we’re not planning to treat it like a trampoline), I don’t expect to have to replace it any time soon. If something ghastly happens and it breaks, right back I go for another Cascade 3000.

Its literally been a life-saver. After my husband’s stroke, just going to the bathroom was a major risk. He no longer struggles to clean himself. I no longer worry about him falling off the toilet. I can’t say enough about this product. I need him to have the ability to sit on the toilet seat when dizzy. Not all bidets come with this feature. Thanks a million.

I bought this bidet for my daughter. She’s becoming acquainted with it and likes it.
I bought one or two bidets from you for myself and wouldn’t consider buying one from anyone else. Your pricing and service are excellent.

The Cascade 3000 had been a wonderful thing. I use a commode chair and with a bit of tweaking, it goes over the toilet perfectly. The Bidet works so great, never thought I would be so privileged to have a bidet. No more TP for me. Thank you!

Easy to install. Remote is easy to. Everything operates as advertised.

Awesome bidet with so many incredible features and probably at the most competitive price for what it can do. I had initially bought a toto but decided to go with this one due to the much longer warranty (4 years vs 1 year) and I’m so happy I switched before installing the toto. This is a fantastic bidet, 10/10 would recommend!

Great product, simple to install yourself. Easy controls. Would have given it a 5 star if controller had two preset settings. Everything works great and good quality

I am going to have rotator cup surgery. One of the items suggested to have after surgery was a bidet. After lots of research the Cascade 3000 was the logical choice for our family. The best warranty & return policy, benefits & ease of use were all important. The bidet works great. We got the large remote, and it is easy to use & understand. Would be nice to have a back light on it. (Sometimes at night for use without turning on lights). The person who helped on the phone @ many bidets was very helpful. We recommend ManyBidets, especially for a first time buyer.

Many Bidets has amazing service and support. Their instructional videos were super helpful during my set up. Best of all I now have a killer bidet set up for my Mom…. Makes toileting a dream…. Or at least not a nightmare lol.
