- Can I install this bidet seat myself?
About 95% of our customers install this seat on their own in well under an hour. If you decide to hire help, you can often hire a handy person instead of a plumber, and thus get less expensive help, but these seats are designed to be installed without professional help.

The Eco-Nova fits very nicely on the Aquia IV. There should not be any overhang in the front or on the sides.

That really depends on the quality of your water. Adding an inline water filter can certainly help lengthen the lifespan of your bidet. One thing to note is that not all manufacturer's support the use of inline water filters. While an inline water filter is not required, if you have issues like hard water then adding a filter can extend the life of the bidet.

The Eco-Nova has an instant water heating system so it heats on demand instead of keeping a constantly heated reservoir of warm water. It also is equipped with an eco mode that reduces settings to save on power usage.

The Eco Nova's warranty covers all parts, including the lid, for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use. It does not cover scratching or staining from use of chemicals or cleaning agents, but if the lid were to break under normal use, that would be covered.

Great question! The Eco-Nova works on elongated toilets only. To determine your toilets shape, measure from the seats bolt holes to the front rim of the bowl. If you come up with 18.5" then you have an elongated toilet. Next you will want to measure from the those same bolt holes to the front of the toilets tank, if you have 1.5" or more, you should have a great fit. Unfortunately, we do not ship directly to Norway. However, if you have a freight forwarder in the US, we would be happy to ship it to them.

Yes, the Eco Nova should fit the Toto elongated Ultramax. Keep in mind that if your Ultramax is a Washlet+ version, which has the extra hole for the bidet cord and hose to route down through, the Eco Nova's cord and hose will not route down through that hole, but will come of the sides of the bidet seat like normal. If you do have the Washlet+ version and want a bidet seat that's cord and hose go through the designated hole, consider a Toto Washlet seat like the S7A!

The instructions are listed on the page under \"daily cleaning\" but clearly it doesn\'t need that! Also, you might want to add the warning to shut off the water supply before removing the filter; it seems obvious in retrospect, but following the instructions without this step leads to a major puddle on the floor!
We recommend cleaning the steel mesh filter every 6 months, or if you notice a loss of water pressure to your bidet. If you have particularly hard or sedimented water, cleaning it every 3-4 months can be beneficial.

You can clean the steel mesh filter by first turning off the water inlet, then you can use a coin and turn counterclockwise to open the filter, although can sometimes be a bit tricky to get it to turn. Once it's open, you can simply clean it with a small brush, such as a toothbrush! Typically its recommended to clean this part just a few times a year unless you have really hard water. If that is the case, we recommend doing it every 2-3 months. The Eco Nova power cord is 4' long, and comes out the left side of the seat when facing. You can safely plug it into a 16 gauge minimum extension cord.

The maximum pull of the Eco nova has 1140W. A dedicated 20 amp circuit is recommended, however, most of our customers plug it into a shared 20 amp bathroom circuit and have no issue.

Full disclosure:
I also have a TOTO S550e washlet (which is much more expensive), so I am a bit biased because some features on the TOTO are superior. That being said, if I had never used the TOTO, I would give this Eco Nova seat 5 stars.
Pros:
Remote control is easy to use/understand.
Lid will support 400 pounds. Very sturdy to sit on.
Low profile so the seat feels comfortable.
It employs nano as well as UV sterilization.
Soft blue night light in bowl is pleasing to the eye.
Unending supply of hot water and strong blow-dry.
Great seat for the price!
Cons:
No indicator light when changing force of wash so you know when you’ve reached the limit.
No indicator light when changing nozzle position.
Spray is not as strong as the TOTO unless using the “Auto Clean” option.
Difficult to install because directions are confusing! Daniel sent me a video and gave me phone support when installing. That support was crucial, so as long as you reach out to him you’ll be fine.
I’m glad I bought the Eco Nova for my guest bathroom.
